Tennis Courts: Progress Being Made
You might notice the land being cleared to the west of the main driveway.  This is the first step in the construction of our tennis courts.  Crews will work throughout the winter so that courts are ready for the Spring 2011 Tennis season.  Interested in helping make this project happen?  Contact Jerry Bates (jbates@riverfield.org) or Toby Clark (tobyclark@riverfield.org).

Cub Scouts Rally Next Week
This year’s Cub Scout Rally will be at 5:30pm on Tuesday, September 7th on the Nature Playground.  Scout sponsors will be serving pizza, talking with parents about the Scout Program for 1st-5th graders, and having activities for the boys.  There is no program for Kindergarten at this time.  A Scout Representative will be at Round-Up this week to remind the boys about the Rally on the 7th.

Annual Innisbrook Fundraiser Has Begun
One way to keep tuition costs down at Riverfield is to participate in our annual Innisbrook Products Fundraiser.  Products include wrapping paper, gift bags, gourmet food items, candies, magazine subscriptions, and much more.  Riverfield receives 50% of the total of most items sold.  We only have 4 weeks to sell products to family and friends through the catalog or via the Internet.  Go to www.innisbrook.com to register your student; Riverfield¹s School Code is 116109.  Innisbrook will even send emails on behalf of your child (or you can opt to have them send the link to you and then you can send the email) to encourage long distance family and friends to support Riverfield.  It¹s easy, but you have to register your student in order for them to get credit and the buyer must click on the link to place their order.  Look for more details in your packet. Questions?  Contact Kendra Paiva at kdwhite1@cox.net, (h) 298-1107, or (c) 405-550-8033.

Miss Zarrow's Art Classes Need Supplies
Lisa Zarrow, K-5th Art teacher, has some exciting projects in store for the year.  If you could donate any of the following items to the Art department, it would be a great help: Blenders, hair dryers, and 2-liter plastic bottles.  Thanks!

RCDS Home Ec Classes Wish List
Miss James and her Home Ec students say “Thanks” for the generous donations received so far.  Their kitchen is still in need of silverware (does not need to match).  Donations can be taken to the Upper School.

Renweb How-To
Riverfield parents can find a wealth of information regarding school activities, grade reports, lesson plans, homework, family directories, and more on our school management website at www.renweb.com.  To log onto RenWeb for the first time, a parent will need to input the district code RCDS-OK, the e-mail address where he/she receives Riverfield email, and your chosen password.  Staff does not have access to parent passwords.  Questions or concerns about RenWeb should be directed to frontdesk@riverfield.org.

Round-Up is our Friday Assembly at 8:40am usually in the Multi-Purpose Room. Please be punctual!

RCDS Fantastic Fact
Athletics are in full swing at RCDS.  Last Friday was our first Varsity Football game, a close battle against Rejoice in Owasso.  The Raven Invitational Cross Country meet had a solid turnout on campus on Saturday morning.  Volleyball kicks off tonight with a MS game against Destiny and MS football’s season starts tomorrow at home against Jennings.
