Nestled on a 120- acre campus, with a barnyard, free wandering peacocks and wooded trails, Riverfied Country Day School takes the Pre-School experience from ordinary to extraordinary. Action research, collaboration and communication are well-honed tools that are fostered as a foundation for  life-long learning.  At Riverfield, complex environments, intelligent and open-ended materials and rich and engaging experiences work in tandem with innovative educators to cultivate meaningful learning. Interdisciplinary projects are relevant and rigorous, bring life to the children’s thinking, and address the skills, mindsets and dispositions necessary to thrive in our current and future economies.

Inspired by the Schools of Reggio Emilia, Italy, the Pre-School is a welcoming and nurturing learning community that values children as competent and capable learners deserving of competent and capable educators.
