It's been a quiet, planful week for administration on campus. Your happy chatter and bright energy are already dearly missed! We hope you're ready to come back for summer camp, because we sure are ready to see you there. Adventure awaits!

5/27:  First Day of Camp Raven & Ravens Nest (Pre-School Summer Program)
             SWIM DAY for Camp Raven!
6/1:    Summer Special Merch Pre-Orders Close
6/13:  Family Swim Night, 6pm at Camp Loughridge
6/19:  NO CAMP/PRE-SCHOOL in honor of Juneteenth
7/4:     NO CAMP/PRE-SCHOOL in honor of Independence Day
7/18:  Family Swim Night, 6pm at Camp Loughridge
8/1:     Last Day of Camp Raven & Ravens Nest, 3pm Dismissal

what does pre-order mean?

These five special items are not kept in regular stock. Therefore, all orders for these items will be processed in bulk, after the two week pre-order window closes. ALL Raven Shop orders placed during this time that include Summer Special items will be processed, printed, and shipped after June 1. (This is why the Raven Shop site says not to combine "regular" store items with Summer Special items. If you do, you'll have to wait for the pre-order items to arrive before your order can ship!)

Ravens Nest Pre-School summer programming begins Tuesday! Our summer staff couldn't be more excited to welcome our young Ravens back to campus and begin their warm weather adventures together. Here are a few important reminders for summer in the pre-school!

• Summer hours are (regular) 8:30am-3:30pm or (extended) 7:45am-4:30pm.
• Children should arrive in swimsuits, with suncreen and bug spray already applied.
• We will enjoy our wooded trails almost daily; please bring shoes appropriate for woods-walking!
• Children should always have a full change of clothes in their bags, just in case.

The first day of Camp Raven is Tuesday, too! You probably know the BIG 3 RULES (Sunscreen, Bug Spray, and H2O) but here are a few other important notes as we begin our summer adventures.

• All summer, SWIM DAY for Camp Raven campers is TUESDAY! Since there's no camp on Monday Week 1, this means we swim on our very first day of camp! Come in your suits and don't forget your towels, water shoes, goggles, and a change of clothes. All campers should arrive by 8:15am on SWIM DAYS!
• Label, label, LABEL EVERYTHING!
• Bring to Camp Raven every day: Water bottle with lid, full change of clothes, suncreen, bug spray, swimsuit, towel, and water shoes.

Cross Country training has already begun! For information about our Middle and/or Upper School Cross Country (XC) teams, email Coach Jen Clouse, [email protected].

Middle and Upper School Tennis teams will also have court time this summer. Watch for an email from Coach Toby Clark, [email protected], for specifics!
