Happy Summer Ravens!
Mark your calendars for the Back to School/Activity Fair on Friday, August 16, 2-6 pm. Be sure to stop by the Green Gym for the Activity Fair to learn about clubs, programs, and ways you can be involved in our 2024-25 school year, including our 40th anniversary celebrations!
Last week, we sent out the Back to School email and forms. Please complete and return all forms to [email protected] no later than Wednesday, July 24! Your student(s) shirt sizes must be submitted on this form no later than July 24 so we may submit our back to school shirt order. **You may need to size up to account for kids growing. This is their FREE RCDS shirt to wear on field trips and to represent their school!
With this year being the 40th anniversary, there will be even more opportunities to engage and support our RCDS community. Tremendous family involvement is one of the many unique factors that make Riverfield such a special place. Your willingness to take part in the making of the magic makes all the difference! the RCDS Family Business Directory is coming back!
This directory offers both a promotional opportunity to our families’ businesses and gives our community a helpful resource to turn to first, to utilize and support a Riverfield family-associated company to meet their business or family needs. You are invited to submit information about a business you own or work for to be included in this directory. There is no charge for your listing!
Riverfield Athletics & Booster Club
There are two ways to support our athletic and competitive programs: Booster Club and Athletic Passes! Booster Club membership and Athletic Passes can be purchased independently or together. Booster Club and Athletic Passes will be available two times in the school year. Orders are open now through September 20 for fall sports and will open again just before we leave for Winter Break for spring sports. Membership and Athletic Passes purchased at either time are good for the 2024-25 school year.
Help us keep our Mr. Murph's Recycling Containers!
Riverfield's Recycling efforts are part of our culture of environmental responsibility and we are proud to offer recycling bins for our RCDS families to use. Un-crushed aluminum cans may be bagged and placed in the RCDS Recycling Huts in the Upper and Lower School parking lots. To recycle in the Mr. Murph Recycling Bins, please follow these rules:
Mr. Murph Recycle Huts accept mixed papers; flattened cardboard; containers from your kitchen, laundry, and bathroom; cleaned aluminum and steel cans; cleaned food and beverage containers; and cleaned bottles and jars. NO GLASS, PLASTIC BAGS, APPLIANCES, BATTERIES, OR GARBAGE. More info on what can and cannot be recycled can be found at feedmrmurph.com. (Note: Putting items in the Mr. Murph boxes that don't belong can lead to this service being eliminated due to non-compliance. We appreciate your help!)
