At Camp Raven, we encourage personal growth in each camper by providing an excellent program facilitated by nurturing and knowledgeable counselors. Within this safe and supportive community, each camper will have fun, cultivate new skills, feel valued for who they are, and develop a sense of belonging. We believe that a positive camp experience can be life changing.

This is our 33rd year at Camp Raven utilizing our 120-acre campus nestled in the woods just west of the Arkansas River. We want to make sure that every camper, family, and camp counselor has the best summer ever! From kayaking to rock band, Barbie World to Cowboy Camp, and Hogwarts to Sniff, Bark, Meow, we have a camp for your kid's every interest.

Join us as we travel to the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL. Students will be participating in the Pathfinder Program to get an introductory look at Space Camp. After building model rockets and training like astronauts, we will participate in a simulated space mission.

Bike I: Intermediate (Grades 4-8)

Parks & Treats (Grades 5-8)

This camp is for pet lovers! We will learn about what pets need to thrive from a veteranarian, therapy dog owners, service dog owners, police officer & police dog and from our very own families. We will visit a pet store to learn more about a variety of animals. And, we will make pet treats, pet tags, and so much more! There will be a sign-up for the campers to bring in their household pets for a show-and-tell!

Week 3 (June 3-7)

In this camp you will learn simple techniques by hand and on the sewing machine, embroidery machine, and serger to create small projects to your liking. We will visit businesses like B Sew Inn, Vintage Sewing Center & Museum, and/or Owl and Drum to design and create MORE projects. AND, we will visit the Gathering Place to enjoy the morning at the boat deck while hand stitching creative ongoing projects (i.e. needle felting, finger weaving, cross stitch). Bike II: Advanced (Grades 5-8)

This bike camp is for the slightly more experienced rider who must be able to adequately balance, pedal, brake, and shift gears. The camp will utilize both paved & dirt trails. Bikes MUST be in working order with good brakes/tires and have multiple gears.

Fun with Spheros (Grades 5-8)

Discover a fun and imaginative way to learn programming with Sphero Mini! This compact robot, measuring about the same size as a ping pong ball, is perfect for beginners, offering intuitive coding and a range of features that make it a fun and engaging tool for exploring the world of STEAM. Using these tools, we will be introducing block programming, game theory and designing our own games.

Cooking & Gardening (Grades 5-8)

Join us for a week of all things cooking and gardening! We will begin making a grocery list for the week then shopping for our ingredients at the store...a lifetime skill. We will spend the first part of our days hands-on in the kitchen with some of chef Jennifer‘s own recipes, learning how to follow simple directions. (Hopefully, campers will re-create these recipes for parents at home!) Our final day will be preparing a meal for the parents during lunchtime. We will spend our afternoons being hands-on with simple gardening tools to help our kids understand where our food comes from.

Week 4 (June 10-14)

Fiber Art (Grades 1-4)

Students will get an introduction to many of the amazing techniques and processes involved in making fiber art. In this camp we will dye and paint fabric, make felted wool, paint silk, tie dye, embroider, learn how to use Shibori and Batik techniques, and learn how to needle felt. We will combine fun craft techniques with traditional methods of surface design to make beautiful fiber art. If you want to have fun with new and exciting materials and learn how to make fantastic fiber art, this is the camp for you!

Field trips to Climb Tulsa, Turkey Mountain, and Chandler Park will give an overview of climbing opportunities in the Tulsa area.

A perennial favorite, Care Camp provides opportunities to serve the needs of others through hands-on projects, teamwork, and creative instruction. Get involved and feel empowered to make a difference in the world!

Music Production (Grades 7-12)

Learn the basics of making and recording music using industry-standard software such as Ableton and others in the brand-new Center for Creativity recording spaces. Students will get to track, edit, mix, and create music in a professional environment, with plenty of time to "mess around" and have fun. Talequah Float Trip (Grades 7-12)

Camp out, hang with friends around the campfire, and float down the Illinois River. We will have a blast sleeping in tents for two fun-filled nights, rafting a six-mile stretch, and then kayaking a full 12 miles down the Illinois. Experienced swimmers only. The Tahlequah float trip has been a favorite memory-making experience summer after summer culminating with fun splash at Blue Hole. Camp cost includes meals.

Campers will use paint, pencils, collage and printmaking to create unique works of art in the style of famous artists while learning about the artists and their art. At the end of the week there will be a gallery show and reception for families.

We will also explore different types of plants, succulents, house plants, outdoor plants, etc. Field trips will be taken to local nurseries/businesses like Southwoods, Cohlmias, and/or Brookside. We will have experts come to us to talk about proprogation and composting. We will learn to macrame and so much more! By the end of the week, you will have learned how to plant and care for a variety of plants!

Survival Skills (Grades 5-8)

Walk in the footsteps of discoverers like Lewis and Clark in the wilds of Riverfield’s 120-acre campus. Learn fundamentals of outdoor ethics, basic survival skills, and plant identification. Musical Theatre: Broadway Babies (Grades 5-8)

Up in the Air (Grades 1-4)

Puppetry 101 (Grades 3-6)

Lil' Basketball (Grades 1-4)

Have you ever wanted to make polymer clay beads for a necklace or bracelet? Wire wrap stones and crystals? Learn how to use a soldering iron? This is the camp for you! We'll be learning new skills and crafting our own accessories!

A Hogwarts Adventure (Grades 4-8)

Welcome to Hogwarts Camp, where young witches and wizards can immerse themselves in the magical world of Harry Potter! Located in the enchanted forests of Riverfield, our campers will be sorted into houses, participate in Quidditch matches, explore the Forbidden Forest, and a few other magical surprises along the way. Hogwarts Camp promises an unforgettable summer of enchantment and friendship!

CAMP FULL - CLOSED Kayaking (Grades 5-8)

Journey to local waters and practice the foundations of kayaking in a safe environment. Water bottles, sunscreen, bug spray, proper footwear, and day packs are required each day. Life jackets, paddles, and kayaks are provided. Campers can bring a personal lifejacket. Camp cost includes lunch. Experienced swimmers only.

Magic Camp (Grades 5-8)

Let's Make a Play (Grades 5-9)

To write or not to write?! Have you ever had an idea for a dramatic story and didn't know how to get it onto paper, or how to get other people to act it out for you? This camp is all about making your storytelling dreams come true! Campers will write, direct and act in each other's pieces and will put on a show for parents at the end of the week in the new Riverfield Black Box Theatre!

Esports (Grades 9-12)

Are you a gamer? Do you want to put your skills to the test and see if friendly competition is something you enjoy? Spend the week gaming at an E-Sports venue as well as on campus in console gaming, PC gaming and, next-gen consoles. Campers will learn to play several games, will learn group and individual strategies, and good communication with their team. We provide several machines, but campers are encouraged to bring their systems.

Week 9 (July 15-19)

YeeHaw! Life on the Farm is kind of laid back, but we are going to pack so much fun into this exploration of farm animals and farms! We will visit Riverfield's farm and see how to take care of the animals. Cowboy Curtis may come by with his horses for chances to get on and ride a little. We will also take field trips to visit several farms to pet animals and learn what we can about farm life.

This is a one-stop place for everything American Girl! Campers can practice hair care, make accessories, and more with American Girl Dolls. Any 18” doll is welcome in this camp and a few extras should be on hand for those who need them. Campers will practice sewing, cooking, and crafting for themselves and their dolls.

CAMP FULL - CLOSED Basketball (Grades 3-7)

Do you want to improve your basketball skills? Raven Basketball Campers will practice dribbling, passing, shooting, and offensive/defensive skills through fun and creative basketball activities. Cheer (Grades 5-8)

At Cheer Camp, campers will spend a fun-filled week cheering and dancing! This camp offers many exciting cheerleading activities: practicing motions, dances, jumps, flexibility, and more! During the week, cheerleaders will create a routine incorporating the skills they have learned into a final performance! No prior cheerleading experience is required.

Students will experiment with a variety of painting mediums and techniques. Using paint to create landscapes, portraits, still lifes and abstractions is a wonderful way to experience the joy of being an artist.

Broadway Bound (Grades 6-12)

5, 6, 7, 8! Don't you know you're really great?! Spend the week learning SHiNE Dance Fitness routines that boost confidence and leave you feeling as awesome as you are. We'll learn the basics of jazz, ballet and hip hop dance techniques, and discover the power of creating an exercise habit that isn't just work,  it's PLAY!

Raven Retreat (Grades 5-8)

A week filled with everything that spoils us! We will begin each day with a playful yoga class, introducing special breathing techniques to encourage ultimate relaxation for the day. We will have ample time for doing nails, soothing crafts, creating homemade body scrubs, and nature walks. We will have dedicated possibilities time each day for the campers to use all selected materials to show their own creativity.

Hockey (Grades 5-8)

Grab a stick and a puck and get ready for a fast and fun camp. Campers will learn the rules and develop skills to play and enjoy the coolest game on earth: hockey! This camp will incorporate a technical session to work on basic skills and a tactical session that includes small sided games and scrimmages. Campers will also get a chance to ice skate during the week.
