Winter Weather Reminder

At Riverfield, we believe everyday is a good day to be outside (unless the temperature or wind chill is below 10 degrees), even if it's only for 10 minutes. Please be sure your student is ready for the winter weather by having appropriate gear every school day!

  • Warm Coat
  • Hat
  • Gloves/mittens
  • Warm shoes or warm boots with warm socks (rain boots are not warm enough without significant liners)
  • Long pants/leg coverings

Please label your student's belongings!

Raven Nation: In the news

Varsity Raven Boys Basketball caught headlines with VYPE High School Sports News. Featuring our Senior athletes and upcoming players to watch out for, Head Coach Jason Bogle said, “We return two starters off an Area finals team. We have a fast and athletic group. We have some sophomores and juniors that will be starting for the first time so we should get better as the year goes on and they gain experience. We are led by returning starters senior Anthony Harper and junior Max Harper. Senior Jackson McGillen, juniors Parker Corbin, Quinn Stevenson, Cameron Williams, and sophomores Scott Thompson, Alex Findley and Stone Roosevelt will play key roles. This group has embraced the culture of our program and wants to continue the success that we have had.”

Raven Basketball only has four home games left! Support our athletes by volunteering to work the gate, concessions, or run the clock!

Mr. Murph & REcycling No-Nos

First, a success to share! Thanks to our families and students dropping off cans in the RCDS Recycle Huts, over the break, we collected $600 from those cans to support our barnyard animals! This Friday is our First Friday for can-fest. Bring your un-crushed cans to keep up the momentum of our recycling efforts!

A friendly reminder to only recycle accepted recyclable materials in our Mr. Murph bins and RCDS Recycle huts. Please do not  bring chemicals or non-recyclables on campus. Doing so requires not only exposes our campus and students to hazardous materials, but also our teachers and staff. M.E.T. Recycling Center and the City of Tulsa Household Polutant Collection Facility.  It is a privilege for RCDS to offer our families Mr. Murph recycling services and inappropriate materials in our bins can lead to us not having Mr. Murph services. Cans for recycling should be un-crushed and put in the RCDS Recycle huts at the US & LS parking lots.
